                                      Director, Fall Protection Specialist

       Neil Smidstrup is the Director of Pacific Rim Fall Protection, a Division
      of S&S Supplies and Solutions in Martinez, California.

      Prior to becoming a fall protection specialist, Neil lived in Calgary,
      Alberta, Canada where he graduated from Southern Alberta
      Institute of Technology with a degree in Business Management.
      He completed two years of an electrical apprenticeship program
      before he was employed by a Canadian based firm (Tri-Tech Fall
      Protection) to perform on-site fall protection system installations
      all over North America. He was able to work in both the US and
      Canada, because of his dual citizenship, which was a valuable
      asset to Tri-Tech’s organization.
      During his employment with this particular company, he led a six
      month long project in Northern California and was based out of
      the San Francisco bay area, where he soon became a resident.

      Neil then became trained and certified through the U.S.Department
      of Labor for Fall Arrest Systems in 2004, and shortly after, started
      Pacific Rim Fall Protection, Inc. In April of 2011, Neil became Director
      of Engineered Fall Protection Solutions at S&S Supplies and Solutions  
      after a successful merger between the two companies.

      When Neil is not working at heights you can usually find him
at one of the surf breaks along the California Coast.
